Last year, on 25 th October 2019, Nambucca Valley hosted its first Reclaim the Night march. On Friday, 25 October 2019, I made my way to the old Katoomba library to gather with a very special group of people. Co-ordinated women’s marches against sexual harrassment and rape first started in Europe and the USA in the mid-1970s. I n the late 1970s, a small group of art students at Leeds University created a pivotal hotbed of radical post-punk.
